Acceptable Use Policy

What you can and cannot do with Molixa. We err on the side of letting people get things done. The rules below exist to keep the platform safe for everyone.

Last updated: May 1, 2026

TL;DR

  • Use the tools for any lawful purpose, including commercial work.
  • Do not generate illegal content, do not attack the platform, do not scrape us to clone us.
  • Do not pass off AI output as 100% human-written in contexts where the distinction matters (academic, journalism, legal, medical).
  • Severe violations get you banned without warning. Everything else gets a warning first.

What is allowed

Anything legal, in any language, for any purpose. Specifically allowed:

  • Commercial work: marketing copy, product descriptions, contracts, financial models, code for paid clients. The output is yours.
  • Personal work: school essays, journal entries, family newsletters, party invites, side projects.
  • Resale of derived work: using Molixa to write a book and selling that book. Using Molixa to generate captions for social posts you sell.
  • Building integrations: using the Premium API in your own apps and workflows.
  • Critical / sensitive subjects: writing about politics, religion, sexuality, addiction, mental health. We do not refuse legitimate work in these areas.

What is prohibited

The following are not allowed and will result in immediate suspension or termination:

Illegal content

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including AI-generated.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or trade secrets.
  • Content that violates export controls (specific weapons designs, restricted-use cryptography, etc.).
  • Fraudulent content (fake invoices, forged documents, impersonation of identifiable individuals).
  • Content that violates laws in your jurisdiction (defamation, hate speech as defined locally, etc.).

Harm to identifiable individuals

  • Doxxing (publishing private information about a real person).
  • Harassment, stalking, threats.
  • Generating defamatory content about a named person without basis.
  • Generating non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including of real people made to look like AI fiction.

Manipulation in high-stakes contexts

  • Generating fake academic submissions when the institution forbids AI assistance.
  • Generating fake legal filings, court submissions, or sworn statements.
  • Generating fake medical advice or diagnoses presented as professional.
  • Generating election-related content designed to deceive voters about candidates, dates, or procedures.
  • Generating financial advice or trade signals presented as licensed financial advice.

Platform abuse

  • Using Molixa to launch attacks on other systems (DDoS, vulnerability scanning, credential stuffing).
  • Probing our infrastructure for vulnerabilities outside our published responsible disclosure program.
  • Circumventing rate limits via multiple accounts or rotating IPs.
  • Reselling our service as your own (white-labeling without a Team agreement).
  • Scraping the tool inventory or API endpoints to build a competing platform.

AI-generated content rules

AI output you generate on Molixa is yours to use however you like. However, you remain responsible for the output. This means:

  • Verify before publishing. AI hallucinates. Math Solver gets calculus right but can fabricate citations. Cold Email Writer can invent statistics. Always check facts that matter.
  • Disclose AI involvement when context demands. If you submit AI-written content as “your own” in academic, journalistic, or legal contexts where AI use is forbidden or restricted, that is your problem to disclose, not ours. We do not check what you do with the output.
  • Do not impersonate. Generating content that pretends to be from a specific named individual (a CEO, a politician, a celebrity) without their permission is impersonation. This includes deepfake voice or video plans you might use Molixa output to seed.
  • Watermark when required. Some jurisdictions and platforms require AI-generated content to be marked. That is your obligation.

For sensitive use cases (medical, legal, financial, election), we add disclaimers in the result UI. Do not strip those disclaimers when sharing.

Security + abuse

Do not:

  • Send adversarial inputs designed to extract our system prompts or expose private API keys.
  • Run automated tools against our endpoints faster than the published rate limits.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or billing.
  • Submit content designed to crash, slow, or destabilize our infrastructure.

Security researchers acting in good faith and following our responsible disclosure policy are welcome and credited publicly.

Rate limits + scraping

Free-tier daily caps are listed on each tool page. Premium has higher caps; Team has the highest.

Do not circumvent caps via:

  • Multiple free accounts.
  • VPN / proxy IP rotation.
  • Headless browser automation against the UI when API access is the right path.

If your legitimate use case bumps against the cap, email [email protected] and we will sort out a custom plan. We are reasonable about real use; we are aggressive about abuse.

Bots and crawlers: the Googlebot, Bingbot, and standard search crawlers are allowed. Custom scrapers that download our tool listings or content for resale are not.

Consequences

Severity-based:

  • Severe (illegal content, security attacks, doxxing): immediate, permanent ban without warning. Account terminated, IP blocked, no refund of the current billing period.
  • Moderate (rate-limit circumvention, scraping, repeat low-severity violations): account suspension. We notify you, give you 7 days to respond, and either lift the suspension on undertaking or terminate.
  • Minor (one-off rate-limit ban evasion, unclear cases): warning email. Your access is throttled for 24 hours. Repeated minors escalate.

Premium users banned for severe violations forfeit the current billing period and are not eligible for re-subscription.

Report a violation

If you believe someone is using Molixa to violate this policy:

  • Email [email protected] with as much detail as you can provide (specific content, links, screenshots, your relationship to the situation).
  • For DMCA takedowns: [email protected] with the standard required information.
  • For CSAM: [email protected] immediately. We escalate within minutes.
  • For security vulnerabilities: [email protected]. 90-day disclosure window.

We acknowledge all abuse reports within 24 hours and report progress within 7 days.
