Refund & Cancellation Policy

Pro comes with a 3-day free trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Cancel anytime in two clicks. Here is exactly how refunds and cancellations work.

Last updated: May 25, 2026

TL;DR

  • Every new signup gets a 3-day Pro trial, no card required. Nothing is charged during the trial.
  • If you do subscribe, you get a full refund within 14 days of your first charge, for any reason, no questions asked.
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Payments and refunds are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

The free trial

Every new account starts with a 3-day Pro trial automatically. No card is required to start it, and you are not charged anything during those 3 days. At the end of the trial your account converts to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe to Pro. Because no payment is taken for the trial, there is nothing to refund for it.

Billing & auto-renewal

  • Pro is $4/month or $36/year (save $12), in local-currency equivalents where applicable.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
  • We email you a receipt for every charge, and we notify you before any yearly renewal or price change takes effect.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy with Pro for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of your first Pro charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why. This applies to your first paid subscription on the account.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method through Polar. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the money typically appears within 5–10 business days.

How to cancel

You can cancel anytime, in two clicks:

  1. Go to your Dashboard and click Manage Subscription (this opens the secure Polar customer portal).
  2. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep Pro access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not pause or prorate a cancellation mid-period by default — see below for the rare exceptions.

How to request a refund

Two ways:

  • Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with your order or invoice number (it is on the Polar receipt we emailed you). We process eligible refunds within 2 business days.
  • Or open the Polar customer portal from your dashboard, where your invoices and payment history are available.

For your security, we only process refunds back to the original payment method, and we only act on requests that come from the verified account email.

Refunds after the 14-day window

After 14 days, subscriptions are generally non-refundable, because you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. We will, however, consider a prorated refund at our discretion if:

  • The service was substantially broken or unavailable for an extended period and we could not fix it, or
  • You were charged in error (for example, a renewal that fired after a cancellation request we received in time), or
  • Your local consumer-protection law grants you a stronger right — in which case that law applies in full.

EU/UK consumers: statutory withdrawal and consumer rights are not affected by anything in this policy.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your subscription enters a 7-day grace periodduring which we retry and you keep Pro access. If payment still has not succeeded after 7 days, the account is automatically downgraded to Free. No penalty, no debt — you can re-subscribe anytime.

Chargebacks

If something looks wrong with a charge, please email [email protected]first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute, and a refund is usually quicker than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in the account being suspended pending resolution.

Merchant of Record

Payments, invoicing, taxes, and refunds for Molixa Pro are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. That means Polar is the seller of record on your statement and invoice, and it calculates, collects, and remits any VAT, sales tax, or GST due based on your billing location. We never see or store your card details.

Your purchase is also governed by Polar’s buyer terms and privacy policy. Where this policy is more generous to you than the default, this policy applies.
